I apologize for allowing Linda Egge, LMEgge1@rochester.rr.com as the source to post up information about the “Page 425 of Obama’s Health Care bill…” article that she feels wanting to share with us, the deaf community. Now we all know that not all of the information are actually true.

NEWS: R-Word Is in process of giving an public appology….

Hi everyone,

For those who did not know that I was one of 30 brave people who have filled up the Monroe County Legislature meeting on Tuesday August 10 from 6 to 8 pm.  We all used up the 2 minutes to tell the legislature not to ignore the accident spoken language on one of many microphones saying “Jesus… Retard” discussion should not move on until a public apology is given.

The group has claimed that they are not happy that someone spoke in the microphone and said the R-Word, retard.  And, some of the Democrat Party accused Mr. Dan Quatro as they felt that it sound just like him.  But, Dan Quatro said it was not them.  But, Dan would not admit who else it could be.  The group did not appreciate them using it as a political game.

To tell you all what is happening with this situation of the R-Word.  Mr. Dan Quatro still will not say that he said it, but he will be willing to give a public apology in behalf of the Monroe County Legislature.

Dan has discussed this with Chris Hilderbrant, Center for Disability Rights (CDR) Director of the Advocacy Department, and Dan has offered by the media that he will personally meet with some of the speakers from the Monroe County Legislature.
